Follow the breath
After thinking of every excuse in the book, I suddenly found myself doing SuryA in my living room just after noon. I kept coming up with tasks to do, even started to look for some food to eat, but lo and behold all the sudden I found myself on my mat.
My body was a bit slow to react after missing yesterday and staying out late again, but just kept reminding myself to follow my breath; Let the postures follow. Amazing how it works everytime, I don't know why I'm not always mindful of it. You'd think I re-invented sliced bread when I just surender to my breath, like I've never done it before. Funny how the mind works.
Time to put this notebook away and eat some healthy chow, enjoying what's left of a beautiful sunny day.

Isn't it funny how it so much harder to get back into the flow after taking a day off, or in my case, a few days. Happy New Year Sammy!
Isn't it funny how if you just start, practice flows along? Each morning, I make a point not to think about practice as a whole--otherwise it seems too daunting.
Happy New Year!!
Happy new year to you too, Tiffany and Karen.
It is funny. I sometimes see Days off as a mixed blessing, Tiffany.
I sometimes get overwhelmed thinking about the whole practice. I try to do the same Karen, and take it one breath or posture at a time.
